Oil Industry Developments

The polluting hydraulic-fracturing technologies of the non-traditional oil industry ((extraction of shale oil and deep extra-heavy oils)) can be replaced by injection of ultra-supercritical water.

Ultra-supercritical water, with the help of a special supercritical tube reactor, is also suitable for the partial refining of heavy oils extracted by conventional thermal methods to ensure pipeline transportation without the use of solvents and other chemicals.

The application of supercritical water for the oil industry and the environmental uses required the development and patenting of several fundamental equipment and devices, which are described below. The technical developments for oil industry was made for Kerogoil Zrt.
